MS&D Conference 2026-the international conference on maritime security and defence
The MS&D Conference 2026 – International Conference on Maritime Security and Defence, taking place in Hamburg from 3–9 September 2026, is a premier global platform for naval power, maritime security and defence strategy. It brings together military leadership, government authorities, defence industry executives and security experts to address the evolving threats and operational realities of the maritime domain. Core themes include naval modernisation, maritime domain awareness, cyber and hybrid threats, unmanned systems, critical infrastructure protection and multinational cooperation at sea. The conference is positioned at strategic level: doctrine, capability and execution converge. For 2026, the MS&D Conference is expected to attract around 4,000 to 5,000 high-level participants, including naval commanders, defence ministries, coast guards, NATO and EU representatives, port authorities and security agencies from across the globe. Approximately 180 to 220 specialised exhibitors and delegations will showcase naval platforms, sensors, command-and-control systems, cybersecurity solutions, maritime surveillance technologies and defence services. The key advantage of MS&D lies in its strategic density: few events combine political authority, military command and industrial capability in such a focused maritime security environment.
