Every year, more than 86,000 events take place in Berlin, attracting 12.9 million participants. Around 420 event venues and more than 700 accommodation providers with over 145,000 beds – from hostels and guesthouses to budget hotels and international luxury establishments – offer ideal conditions for events of all sizes.

The biggest players in the events industry

• Estrel Berlin 
  Germany's largest congress centre. With over 30,000 square metres of space, it offers room for big visions – whether international congresses or corporate events.
• CityCube Berlin 
  22,000 square metres of event space in the heart of Berlin. Highlight: a column-free hall for up to 5,000 guests – ideal for trade conferences or productions.
• Messe Berlin 
  An area that knows virtually no boundaries: 190,000 square metres of exhibition space, 26 halls – one of the largest exhibition centres in Europe.
• Olympiastadion Berlin 
  The largest event location in the capital. Built in 1036, the stadium can accommodate up to 74,000 people – including flexible VIP and event areas. 

• Tempelhof Airport 
  Iconic and impressive: spectacular event worlds are being created in the listed hangars of the former airport (each around 7,000 square metres) – both indoors and outdoors.
• STATION Berlin 
  Where parcels were once sorted, great ideas are now born: the historic halls of the former postal freight station can accommodate up to 6,800 people.
• Kraftwerk Berlin 
  Pure industrial aesthetics: the former thermal power station impresses with its rough concrete walls, multiple levels and urban flair.
• Classic Remise Berlin 
  Classic cars between brick and steel girders: in a historic tram depot dating from 1900, vehicles become the backdrop and setting for stylish events.

• Kapelle am Urban 
  A place with soul: the former 19th-century brick chapel has been restored and transformed into an atmospheric space for cultural and business events.
• Silent Green becomes a cultural space 
  Thinking outside the box? No problem in Berlin. A disused crematorium now serves as a minimalist event location – with a very special aura.

• Insel Lindwerder 
  A private event island on the River Havel: 2.2 hectares of nature, its own jetty, restaurant, ballrooms and terraces – available for exclusive hire.
• New glass house in the Botanical Garden 
  A modern greenhouse surrounded by exotic plants. Ideal for sustainable formats, receptions or summer parties with a green character.
• Pan Am Lounge 
  Back to the 60s: the former VIP lounge of the Pan Am crew now offers an exclusive rooftop atmosphere with panoramic views over the city – in authentic retro design.
• Berlin TV Tower 
  It doesn't get much higher than this: at over 200 metres above ground, the TV tower not only offers a panoramic view, but is also one of the highest event venues in Germany.
• Zeiss-Großplanetarium 
  Events under the stars: Europe's most modern science planetarium impresses with a 360° dome projection – ideal for presentations with wow factor.
• Über 180 Museen 
  Whether it's a reception among masterpieces, a gala dinner in the sculpture hall or a conference in the science museum – Berlin's museum landscape offers rooms full of history and atmosphere.
