Why meetings in Düsseldorf are attractive

Conference Centers
There are a number of international conference venues in Düsseldorf designed specifically to host major events, trade fairs, and exhibitions. One of the most notable is the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center, which attracts delegates from all over the world. Managed by Messe Düsseldorf, the DEC has 263,888 square meters of indoor space and 19 ground-level conference halls. So far this year, it's already successfully hosted the PSI Show and the 46th International Boat Show Düsseldorf.

The compact CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf is linked to the DEC, enjoying the same convenient location on the banks of the Rhine. Ideal for corporate meetings, this center hosts 2,000 events each year and features luminous floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the river below. Plan an event for up to 15,000 guests, or choose a smaller hall for a private presentation. Rooms can be set up in theater, classroom, U-shaped or banquet layouts and include the latest audio-visual technology.
For larger events, Düsseldorf Congress Sport and Event manages major venues including the ISS Dome and Mitsubishi Electric Halle. Although these arenas often host sporting events and concerts, they can also be configured for trade shows and corporate events. Düsseldorf Sport and Event works as a subsidiary of the City of Düsseldorf to provide visitors to the city with all the technical resources they require.
Düsseldorf's professional exhibition centers make it well-equipped to handle the needs of international conferences, but its cozy restaurants and lofty beerhalls provide a charming alternative for less formal business meetings. The Zum Schlüssel Brewery is a popular option, with four rooms ranging in capacity from 35 to 150 diners and a tempting menu of local specialties like Schweinerückenschnitzel, served with fried egg and potatoes.
If you're looking for more international cuisine, enjoy a meeting over dinner and soak up the convivial atmosphere in a private room at Pssst Bandido, a Mexican restaurant that can accommodate up to 45 guests. For evening events and receptions, the Nacht Residenz is a chic club and lounge with exposed brick walls and a capacity of up to 1600 standing guests.
Area Attractions
At the Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Düsseldorf, you and your guests can make use of 15 well-equipped meeting rooms, including six located on the 10th floor with sweeping views of the city skyline. The Golzheimer Platz stop is located only a block away and provides train and bus links to the rest of the city, making this an ideal choice of residence if you'll need to combine internal meetings with attending conferences and networking.

Stretch your legs during a break from work with a stroll along the River Rhine promenade, where in between sunbathers and cyclists you may come across a pop-up market or open air cinema during the summer. The Museum Kunstpalast is a 20-minute walk down the Rhine from the hotel, showcasing work from Rubens along with modern artists. If you have an hour to spare, guided tours are available in German, English, French and Italian.
