Description
Flughafen Tempelhof in Berlin is one of the city’s most iconic architectural landmarks, originally constructed between 1936 and 1941. It stands as one of the largest built structures in the world, with a total indoor area of approximately 300,000 square meters and around 200,000 square meters of usable space. The airport building contains more than 7,200 rooms, reflecting its historical scale and multifunctional design. The largest hall, Hangar 2, covers about 3,600 square meters and can host up to 5,000 guests for large-scale events, exhibitions, or concerts. The site has undergone ongoing renovation works since 2024, focusing on roof and structural preservation, with completion expected by 2026. Today, Tempelhof serves as an event, exhibition, and innovation hub rather than a functioning airport. The property spans 355 hectares, including the main building and the expansive Tempelhofer Feld public park. While parking within the complex is limited and primarily leased, on-site logistics can accommodate event-specific arrangements. Contact can be made via telephone at +49 30 200 03 74-500
